What’s all this fuss about Mutter’s-don’t we all have them? I am happy to have my ma every day. For instance, she calms me down, hugs me, gives me treats and even found some new food that I gobbled up tonight called Iams!

She did go out today for a few hours with dad and human bro Sean who is home now and holding this thing with a cord on his lap all the time! Sean sits on one side of the soffie and Ma the other. I keep eyeing that black cord. I hate it! And the whiz whiz is in here a few feet away. A guy can’t get any peace!

So all you Mutters, hope you had a great day with your kitties!

My mom went to see my grandmom, her bro and his woofie Baxter who looks like this:

He looks lovingly at ma’s bro the way I look at her! (So ma says!) When ma got home she smelled a bit like stinky dog. She said she had to pet him a bunch as he was trying to get to know her. Bro said not to pet his ears too much or he would bite ma in the face! Yikes! There’s a kitty that lives there too, but he hides all the time. He’s a scaredy cat! Ma was trying to be nice to him and he blinked at her a bit.

Ma’s been really busy digging, raking and planting Lord knows what in the yard. It smells different every time I venture out! And the long green snake has made an appearance again! I hiss at it everytime! But I also hiss at a knot in my leash.

I get to go outside almost everyday now, but not today because ma was off taking photos in the humongous garden place. If you’d like to see them, check out her blog in the bottom links.

By accident, I ’showed’ ma how I get out of the harness! Oppsie!! If it gets too loose around my neck, I hunch my neck up and the harness part slides down and I can usually shake loose. Now she is making it snug around my neck!

I am eating a bit of grass here and there. I find as I get older I am more into sniffing things for a good spell which bugs ma sometimes. I like when she is actually doing something, maybe pulling weeds nearby, and I can sniff to my heart’s content.

I’ve been keeping ma company on the sofa more too. She prefers that I snuggle up next to her instead of getting on her lap. Last night I stayed by her side for over 3 hours! And I’ve been keeping her company in bed in the morning. She is glad I do because sometimes I cry and she knows she can settle me down (like a baby!)

The catnip must be catmint and I do not like it, though there is a big pot of it out front. Last year, someone else was munching on it!

Sorry, no photos, ‘you know who’ was too busy taking flower pictures!

Before I forget, I am still enjoying watching the birds fly above the family room window. They are pooing on the window a bit too-hahahah!

Ma finally took me outside and we had a nice walk. All of a sudden, she hooked the end of my leash to the shed door and started raking out a garden bed nearby! I started sniffing and ended up almost under the shed, but on a part of the cement slab that is still showing on the side. She came back looking for me and starting pulling on the leash and I started hissing! I liked this spot! I could look for mice or groundhogs. Well, I wiggled so much, I came out of the harness and ma called me Houdini!

I went behind the shed and hide out while she begged me to come back! HA HA! Then it got quiet and I need to know where ma was, and I came back to the slab and she happen to be able to grab me! Rats! Freedom is sweet!

My mom likes Martha Stewart’s blog and was sad to read of the passing of her Chow, Paw Paw. The photos for today are so sad. Bet he’s crossed the rainbow bridge with flying colors.

Two stupid birds decided to build their nest over our family room window! Ma and Dad are trying to discourage them by tapping on the window to scare them. Hey, this is like cable tv to me! I musta sat for a good half hour watching them fly back and forth. I think in my head, if only I could get one-crunch, crunch! I’m surprised ma hasn’t taken a photo of me watching the window! Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything!

Feet curled for easy wakening up stretch!

That’s ma right next to me. I spent the entire evening here which I rarely do, but she was eating Pringles off and on, so I thought I’d hang around!

Notice the delicate extension of my back foot!

The few times I’ve been out these last few weeks, I almost have a major spaz out! The more I walk and sniff, the more I feel the growls in my throat and my mind flashes with images of squirrels, ground hogs and mice! Ma said I even scared her one day and I was feeling so tense she said I was about to start to twirl like the Tasmanian Devil!

Dad had me out and got disgusted with my hisses and snarling.

Now today I was better, still hissed a little, but decided I wanted to go in when mom opened the door. She was very relieved. I had gotten a few morsels of steak, so I know how to act to make ma happy!

I’m doing my ‘lean on’ next to the entertainment thingie and ma points that flashy box in my face! The thing is, I was trying to clean my tummy! So I stopped what I was doing, and just stared her down.
