Ma and Dad have a new hobby thanks to ma’s friend in Canada. This is what I think it is. Ma looks at her computer and finds places to go look for treasures (boxes of junk-ha ha, ma). So they get in the car and disappear for a few hours and mostly come home sweaty and have to take a shower. What are they doing that for? It’s a game….yep, it is! I can’t go as I hear dogs love go with their people and they call them ‘geopups’. Ugh. It figures.
I was going through ma’s photos one day (when she was out on a hunt)and found this:
Why the heck would they use this? Ma said a cache was hidden inside! It’s probably a better idea than what it is suppose to be used for. She said it was near a vet’s office too. Good idea right….nope! Toss all those horrid carriers in a big bonfire…I’ll give you the match.
Sorry it’s been a while gang! In February ma and dad were sick, so she forgot I needed to update this blog. And she was playing with that iPad thingie again and again. I get to play, but I mainly watch the mouse in the game below.
Yesterday I got up on Ma’s lap and she was playing a drawing game and Words with Friends. I enjoyed watching them as you can see:
Ma said to pardon her jammies. She isn’t working in the store and her schedule is messed up, thought she is looking for another PT job.
Here’s some pictures she did of me in apps:
Oh, this one was ‘just’ taken with the iPad.
I have a few issues with leaving little watery vomit spots in the basement, though I throw up my entire meal about once a month. Is this bad? I hope the treats for furballs helps if that is the issue. I am not skinny and have a good appetite.
I got to go outside and snoop around a few days ago! We’ve had warm and sunny weather. I stuck my nose down a mole hole (at least that is what ma thinks!)
Ma got an iPad2 (I can actually fit on her lap when she is looking at it) and she even lets me play with it as you can see. It’s an app called ‘Paint with Cats’.
My Ma thinks about silly stuff sometimes. For instance, she wondered how many stripes I have on my tail. Thing is, I’m not a raccoon and the stripes don’t go all the way around. If you look at my tail from the top, I have 8, let’s just say ‘full stripes’ and 2 halfsies. HA! So maybe the stripes are comparable to how many lives you have-so I have to have 10 lives, right?
I was outside in the early evening on Sunday. I watched Ma and Dad cleaning out the pond during the day and it took them a long time. It smelled kinda funny when I walked by it, but the water was splashing. Ma was happy to report that where were no winter casualities meaning no frog bodies came to the surface. She left off the mesh covering until it was really chilly out in the fall so they could move out.
Today it’s going to be really warm and Ma said she’d take me outside again. Woo!
Ma thought it would be fun or make me ‘aware’ of other cats and animals on that youtube site. I like to snuggle up next to ma and this is what she’s been doing lately. I will say that it was interesting to see other felines and a few dogs in the mix. I bet ma will make a video of me watching these videos. I was really entertained by a dog and his person who said ‘do you want to go out?’ I was really listening and turning my head as you know that is one of my favorite lines to hear. ; ) Watch for a video (I guess!)
Well, guess what?! Ma and Sean were in a Pet*Smart store on Tuesday and they were looking at the kitties who were up for adoption. She said she was looking for a certain ‘dog’ toy for mom-mom’s dog. Yeah right. Heard she took a fancy to a 4 month old tuxie cat with a pink nose and paws named Elliot. The lady coaxed her and Sean into the back room where the cages opened up and they both held him! And he liked it. And when ma put him back in the cage, he turned his back on her! She says that it would break my heart if she brought a kitten into a house with me. And they can’t really afford taking two cats to the vet. It’s Christmastime, so the little poop will probably get adopted in no time. Ma said she prayed that his family would be nice to him. Geez.
This is insane! I can’t even find a good hiding place under the globe here. Ma-please start getting rid of more books-you never read them-they are just for show it seems. Sean got rid of some of his-well he is trying to sell them and they aren’t in his room, but in a crate in the basement-but they are going if they don’t sell. Come on!
That big book over my head (it weighs a ton), was given to ma by her cousin about her paternal family history-if she cleaned off one shelf, there would be room for that!
With all the rain we had this past summer, the grass has been growing like crazy. Ma has been bringing me in long stalks of it-the kind with the ‘cattails’ on the end. She says it’s the cheapest toy ever. Only thing, she let me chew on one too much, and I left dad a greenish present on the basement floor. Ma said at least she didn’t have to clean it up!
I like this photo because of the claw action!
Ma made a video of me playing with the grass and will share it soon.
Being in the dark is nothing new to me. I’m down the basement while my family sleeps at night. Yesterday, early in the evening, the wind outside was so strong, it made all the lights go out for a while. My family gets a bit freaky and funny. My ma went around making fire in different spots of the house. She had a candy smelling one in the kitchen, a lemony lime one in the bathroom and a Christmas one in the dining room! P.U.!
Then they got out the things with the loud noise and they stick things in their ears and ‘sing’ (I use that verb loosely) or hum. My ma had one in her ears and I came up for a lap visit and she tried to get me to hear the song-nonsense! Then she was singing to me -‘for the first time, when I look into your eyes’-very mushy stuff-and the power came on and everyone’s eyes were squinty and it was so bright. Very interesting.
